Anna wakes up early every day. She stretches, yawns, and gets out of bed. First, she brushes her teeth and washes her face to feel fresh. Then, she goes to the kitchen, where her mom is preparing breakfast. Today, Anna has toast with butter, a boiled egg, and a glass of orange juice. After breakfast, she heads back to her room, picks out her clothes, and gets dressed. She wears her favorite blue shirt and jeans. Next, she packs her school bag with her books and a lunchbox. She goes to the bus stop, where her friend Sarah is waiting. They talk about their plans for the day until the bus arrives. When the bus comes, Anna and Sarah sit together, excited about the day ahead.


Tom has always wanted a pet, and today, his wish comes true! His parents surprise him with a small, fluffy rabbit. The rabbit has soft, white fur and big, curious eyes. Tom decides to name his new pet “Snow” because of its color. Every morning, Tom wakes up early to take care of Snow. He feeds him fresh carrots, lettuce, and water. Tom loves to watch Snow hop around the garden. Sometimes, Snow even follows Tom around! In the afternoons, Tom sits on the grass and lets Snow climb onto his lap. Snow is gentle and loves being petted. Tom feels happy and lucky to have such a wonderful friend. He promises to take care of Snow every day.


Maya loves fruits, and her favorite fruit is the apple. She likes red apples because they are sweet, juicy, and crunchy. Every day at lunch, Maya brings an apple with her to school. Sometimes, she even shares it with her little sister, Lily. One weekend, Maya and her family decide to go to an apple orchard. She is excited to see so many apples on the trees. She picks a big, shiny red apple and takes a bite. “This is the best apple I’ve ever tasted!” she says with a smile. When they return home, Maya helps her mom make apple pie with the apples they picked. The whole house smells sweet and delicious. Maya can’t wait to eat a slice!


Ben is a busy boy, especially on Saturdays. He wakes up early and decides to help his parents around the house. First, he cleans his room by picking up his toys and putting them neatly in a box. Then, he makes his bed. After that, he goes to the garden to help his dad. Together, they water the plants, pick ripe vegetables, and pull out weeds. Next, Ben joins his mom in the kitchen to bake a cake. He helps mix the ingredients, and his mom lets him lick the spoon. While the cake is baking, Ben goes back outside to play. When the cake is ready, his family sits down to enjoy it together. Ben is tired but proud of all he did.


Lily’s favorite toy is a bright red balloon. She carries it everywhere, even to the park. Today, she is playing in the park with her mom, holding her balloon tightly. She swings on the swings, slides down the slide, and runs around. But suddenly, a strong wind blows, and the balloon slips from her hand. Lily watches in shock as it floats higher and higher. She tries to jump and grab it, but it’s too late. Lily feels sad and starts to cry. Her mom kneels down, gives her a big hug, and says, “Don’t worry, Lily. We can get another balloon.” Lily wipes her tears and smiles. She knows her mom will keep her promise, and she feels happy again.
